The ibt Toefl Question Format Every question posed in the Toefl test takes a very specific format sometimes even using identical wording. Although topics and content of texts may vary, the questions are always alike. Hence, if the students understand the structure of the questions they will already be well prepared and have only to scan the question and then focus on the material itself and not battle with what is being asked of them. The more testing experience the students get by doing practice tests, the better their chances of achieving a pass or higher grades. Feeling confident and having no surprises as to the format, question style and time limit for each section while facing the test, is extremely important. In conclusion, a test can only be performed by one person and it is the test taker who has to complete the test to his or her best ability. This lesson structure will enable the teacher to offer the best possible lessons, covering every aspect of the test at a point where advice and teaching can still be given prior to the learner who alone has to pass the exam and attain that final passing grade.
