Wasps are a nuisance pest regardless of which way you have a look at it. Every year at the end of summer time the wasp nest will begin to die off. One after the other the employees will die and therefore so will the nest. This is when the subsequent season's queens will go away to find a good overwintering spot. No wasps will ever repopulate an old nest. Nests will simply lie empty inflicting no nuisance. This is a vital fact so let me state it again. Once a wasp nest has died of it is not going to be repopulated ever.
