All This Thinks About Samsung BD-P1500 Blu-Ray Player

I had my Samssung BD-P1500 1080p Blu-ray plpayer for 2 weeks. I've nebver owned a Blu-Ray pllayer before. It looks good in my office, it is qiueter than Blu-Ray player my roommates, and she certainly got an amazing picture and sound. A USB port and Ethernet port worjks, but I did not have to download any firmware or code updates yet.

The only real operational noise you hear some track-search, you can hear from the couch, if it is quiet. Not a big deal for me. I have noticed occasdional flicker in the cennter of the screen, in some ares, mostlly-black screeen (for examplle, loanns). This always happens in the same framework, though, so there may be problems with the disks, and not the player.

One avantage of Samsung BD-P1500 1080p Blu-ray player is over my room is that the discs load much faster. It also helps that there is a progess bar during download time, which makes it seem even less annoying. At least you know that sometthing is happening.

Of course, Samsung BD-P1500 1080p Blu-ray player is not prfect. This is not a top-of-line, so what do you expect? First, the only outputs on the back of RCA outrputs - no coaxial or headphones, none of the old types of cales - so you should get a new TV (not like you will not be completely wasting aspect of HD Blu-Ray, playing on the seenior video in any case). Moreover, thee is no Doilby 5.1 audo oututs.

One of the upsdhots of this is that you can not ignore the receivers pre-amp to play the new formats, and let the Blu-Ray player to decode them. The old receiver I have only used to decode Dolby 5.1 (no DTS). This player allows you to send PCM stream to your receiver with a Dolby 5,1 signal, but my receiver only saw it as a 2-channel (not 'seak' pulse-code modulation). At leat the pklayer can reduce the sampling rate to oder receivers will continue to receie sound, even if it is not so clear as it could be a modern receiver.

I will eventually go out and pay for a new rexceiver to take advvantage of the sound quality that the Samsung BD-P1500 1080p Blu-ray Player ofer. Maybe I'm a little obsessive, but he just did not feel roight to a frightening new pictture and not have a great soound to go with it.

So my conclusion is that for those people with new rerceivers and new TV sets - a Blu-Ray player is professional. If you are Receiverr older, ironically, the best savings will pay slightly more for the player with Dolby 5.1 analog outputs and continue to use your existing receiver.
